Stronger Nurse, Stronger World Inc. is the nonprofit arm of the Stronger Nurse ecosystem — a registered 501(c)(3) public charity (EIN 33-2498569) built to turn nurse strength into system change. Contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Before there’s no one at the bedside
Right now, the world is racing toward a future with not enough nurses. By 2030, experts estimate a global shortage of up to 13 million nurses if nothing changes. Burnout drives experienced nurses away, while financial and life barriers keep too many aspiring nurses — especially single mothers, first-generation, and low-income students — from ever finishing school.
Everyone’s life has been touched by a nurse. Now imagine a world where, when your child spikes a fever in the night or your parent is rushed to the hospital, there simply are not enough nurses. Emergency rooms backed up for hours. Beds full but hallways quiet because there aren’t enough people to answer call lights. Your loved one waiting, while one nurse tries to cover the work of three. That is the future we are trying to prevent.

We believe that when you strengthen nurses, you strengthen the world — through advocacy, education, and voice; through belonging, safety, and community; and through policy change, global equity, and long-term impact.
How we change the story
Two sister organizations work together. StrongerNurse (for-profit) builds the pathway through Stronger Nurse University — education, mentorship, financial empowerment, and holistic wellness. Stronger Nurse, Stronger World Inc. (nonprofit) removes the barriers — using donations to fund scholarships and essential supports for under-resourced aspiring nurses.
Our first campaign goal of $20,000 is just the beginning of an ongoing commitment. These funds, and the recurring gifts that follow, directly support people like Maria, Devin, and Tanya:
Maria — The single mom on the edge. A CNA and single mother of two, told constantly she’d make an incredible nurse. She doesn’t lack the calling — she lacks margin. Your gift can cover a scholarship, childcare on clinical days, and the books and fees between her and her RN license.
Devin — The first-generation student at the breaking point. First in his family to go to college, juggling night shifts and prerequisites. Then the hidden costs arrive — deposits, uniforms, immunizations, equipment, commutes. Your donation steps in right where most students fall out, so his hard work becomes a degree instead of debt and disappointment.
Tanya — The lifelong caregiver finally allowed to say yes. Ready in her 30s to answer a lifelong calling, but returning to school means cutting income. A scholarship and wraparound support answer "will my family pay the price?" with a compassionate no.
